I can get so caught up in my own creativity! Here are a few of the things I have been working on: baby booties, for my new niece and have been getting some orders for baby shower presents; fabric buckets, a bed cover, baking, planting...
I am both dreading and looking forward to summer. It seems my kids have gone insane and are really driving us nuts, not sure if this is just end of school year craziness... School ends way too late this year, June 10th, summer will be half over, seriously!
In the past 5 months, I have taken a job as a waitress at a new restaurant, had my grandfather pass away, lost my job due to the restaurant not making it, dealt with my husband's busiest time of year, had bronchitis, yeah I could go on, ready for a summer break. We did go to our family reunion this past weekend and spent the day on the lake, so refreshing! It only took one day for reality to crash back in! I really need a job, think I am starting at the floral shop, so I am happy about that, it is what I want to do, who I am. I also have finally taken the step of getting my sewn items up for sale at Laurel Street Flowers in St. Paul, MN, so exciting!
Ever feel like you are waiting on the one thing that can make everything feel right, again, but it is not happening and may never? I'm still waiting.
